There is a line above which we see all and below which we cannot see. But we can imagine. And in truth, the world does not end at the horizon.

Expand your horizons...

I think this works better on the theme as that rich blue is so reminiscent of sea and sky.

Gorgeous either way though.

Yes, I just couldn't decide! But the blue is more horizon-like. :)

i don't think that can be done - it's like you were meant to do flipped versions, one in color, and one in b&w as companion pieces, yet very valid individually

what a fabulous image. that powerful horizontal is balancing out the complicated interest on the other side of the image.

brilliant work again rachel.

I'm always here. I've missed you but figured you've been so busy with everything. Certainly life can do that to one! I've had some times I've been limited in terms of time online and shooting, but DA remains my one artistic outlet. So... I'm always here...

i have been busy and gone from the country all at the same time. i am not sure i can say that is so great to be back actually. I just have a lot to figure out. and in the discouraging part is that figuring it out is really taking it's toll on my inspiration. but i will be patient. in the meantime i will take some much needed comfort in the fact that you are always here.

Oh, I was barely here for quite some time when I was relocating. But it seems I always peek in and maintain some measure of a presence. DA is, after all, my primary artistic outlet - only one at this time, actually...
